When you visit Murdock Family Dentistry for the very first time, your appointment will consist of four main steps as outlined below. We invite you to review these steps before your first visit with Dr. Casey Murdock to help you know what to expect. When you arrive at our office, our friendly and knowledgeable team will be there to help you through each of these steps. From the first moment you walk through our door, we strive to give you the personal care you deserve so that you can understand your dental treatment and have a positive experience.

Step 1: Registration

To start off your first visit, we will review your patient registration forms, including your medical history and our office policies. If you want to save a few minutes during your visit, you can complete your forms prior to your appointment. Just click on the buttons below:

Step 2: Dental Imaging

Our dentist and team are dedicated to using the latest dental technology available, including digital X-rays. During your first visit, we will take X-rays to get a detailed and more accurate look at your overall oral health.  We will also be taking a series of photographs. These photographs are close up images of your teeth and will help Dr. Murdock not only diagnose dental treatment but will give you a clear understanding of what he is seeing.

Step 3: Comprehensive Exam

After Dr. Casey Murdock reviews your images and medical history, he and our team will perform a comprehensive dental exam. This exam allows our dentist to check for signs of gum (periodontal) disease, oral cancer and other dental issues. We will take note of your overall condition to help us track your oral health and recommend any treatments you may need.

Step 4: Consultation

After we have finished your comprehensive exam, you will sit down with our financial coordinator to review your plan and discuss your payment options. We will work with you to find a payment plan that fits your budget and needs before you commit to any type of dental treatment.

From start to finish, your first visit to our dental practice will consist of these four steps. Your first appointment may take up to an hour and a half, so please schedule your day accordingly. If you have any questions about your first visit, please feel free to talk with our friendly team.
